Beatles Southport Odeon Cinema Concert Ticket Stub and Book (UK, August 1963). The Beatles played two shows each on six consecutive nights at this British seaside town, August 26-31, with the BBC filming there for inclusion in a television documentary, The Mersey Sound. Ticket: The 2.625" x 2.5" pink paper stub is for the 6:25 first performance on August 28, Front Stalls, H6, price 8/6. It also lists Gerry & The Pacemakers as the lead opening act. Rough torn at left, creased, Very Good condition. Programme: This book was published only for this series of concerts as presented by Arthur Howe. It is 8" x 10.25", sixteen pages, and contains photos and biographies of the acts in the shows. A heavy vertical crease, wear, "28" sticker on cover, Good condition.Auction Info
