    Beatles Balboa Stadium, San Diego, August 25, 1965 Concert Ticket With the Original Transmittal Envelope. A 3.5" x 1.5" black on pink printed ticket for their August 28, 1965, concert at Balboa Stadium, then home to the AFL's San Diego Chargers. The price for this seat in the Upper Level was $3.50. 20,000 fans attended the show. Just prior to this concert, the Beatles took a few days off, staying at a rented North Hollywood mansion. The lads went to visit Elvis on the 27th at his mansion resulting in a superstar jam session. This example with the ultra-rare original transmittal envelope. The ticket is in about fine condition; the envelope a bit tattered. Slabbed in acrylic to an overall size of 6" x 3.5". The Connie and Dennis Dailey Monumental Beatles Collection.
