Alan Freed Show Carnegie Music Hall Concert Ticket (Alan Freed, 1960). As we all know Alan Freed is widely regarded as the man that coined the phrase "Rock and Roll." He was also the main man behind the "payola" scandal of 1960, and this was the last of his "Rock and Roll" shows, as barely three weeks after this concert he was charged with being payed to play records and fired from WNBC in New York.
