The Rolling Stones Signed Postcard (1964).
A complete set of Rolling Stones autographs on the reverse of a Mick Jagger Valex merchandising card in blue ballpoint pen. The autographs were obtained at the Winter Gardens, Empress Ballroom, Blackpool on July 24th, 1964.

The concert was infamous in Stones history. Halfway through the gig, someone spat at Brian Jones and the group left the stage. This sparked a riot. Chandeliers were smashed, seats were torn out, the curtains were pulled down, and a Steinway piano was smashed to pieces. After the riot, the Rolling Stones were banned from performing in Blackpool until 2008.

The autographs come with a letter from the original recipient that reads, "In 1964 I was at a concert in Blackpool Winter Gardens where the Rolling Stones were appearing. I was with a friend who's [sic] husband was a journalist for Blackpool Evening Gazette and was reporting on the concert during the evening a fight broke out and the Rolling Stones left the stage. I was taken backstage where I got the autographs."

The card measures 3.5" x 5.4". The condition is Very Good with corners bumped, fading along the edges, and creasing on the upper right side.

COAs from Tracks Ltd. and Heritage Auctions.
