The Beatles Unused Concert Tickets and Life Magazine In Frame Including Ticket to First Proper Show With Ringo Starr. A collection of vintage Beatles memorabilia, but the crème de la crème in this lot is a ticket for the first proper show the Fab Four played with Ringo Starr as their full-time drummer. No longer a fill-in whenever Pete Best failed to show up for a gig, Ringo played this show at Hulme Hall on Saturday, August 18, 1962. Only two days before, Best was sacked because of a myriad of issues (including producer George Martin's misgivings about his time-keeping abilities). Now with the jazzy swing of Ringo behind the drums and cymbals, the band played with 4 Jays. Ticket is in Very Good Plus condition with pin hole in the upper center portion, along with significant toning on the top and bottom portions, and a black ink square written around "The Fabulous Beatles Band" listing.

Comes matted and framed with a copy of the Beatles on the cover of Life, dated August 28, 1964. This copy is in Very Good Plus condition with creasing along the edges. Also has unused tickets to two different screenings of A Hard Day's Night (one at the New Royal Theatre on August 12, 1964, and the other at the Aynor Theatre on Sept. 3, 1964). And last, but not least, an unused ticket for the Beatles' final performance in front of a paying audience at Candlestick Park in 1966. (Gate E, Section 44). All three of these tickets appear in Near Mint condition.

This incredible collection of Beatles material comes matted and framed to an overall 19" x 26 ¾". COA from Heritage Auctions.
