Stevie Ray Vaughan's First Studio Recording A New Hi Record Album (Tempo 2, 1970). Stevie Ray Vaughan cut two songs for a Dallas-area compilation album, A New Hi with the band Cast of Thousands (the songs were "Red, White and Blue" and "I Heard a Voice Last Night"), billed as Steve Vaughan. Future actor Stephen Tobolowsky ("Ned Ryerson," the annoying insurance salesman in Groundhog Day, plus many more movies and television shows) was also a part of the band. Here's a copy of that rare album, complete with the original folded poster insert, which features a photo of the young guitarist. The album cover still has its original (opened)shrinkwrap.
