From legendary collector and entertainment figure David Gest's gargantuan memorabilia collection comes this selection of sheet music for Soul and Pop hits from multiple generations. Includes: Mýa orchestral score for "Lady Marmalade" (original and copy), and "Mýa Medley - The Case of the Ex, Free, & Come and Go;" the orchestral scores for the Deniece Williams mega-hit "Let's Hear It for the Boy," and "Free;" orchestral score for an unnamed Deborah Cox medley; eight score pages for a song titled "This Guy" in an envelope marked "David Gest / This Guy is Crazy," possibly from an episode of the TV series This is David Gest; scores from two songs by Russell Thompkins Jr. and the Stylistics - "People Make the World Go Round" and "Sing Baby Sing;" the score to GC Cameron's "It's a Shame;" Martha Washington's "It's Raining Men;" The Everly Brothers and Elvis hit "Let It Be Me;" and transposed scores to Jerry Butler's "Make It Easy on Yourself," "Mr. Dream Merchant," and "Only the Strong Survive." Most pages and envelopes measure approximately 10" x 13", and the entire lot weighs approximately thirty-five pounds. All items in Very Good to Fine condition.
