The Velvet Underground & Nico Stereo LP (Verve V6/5008, 1966). Produced by legendary artist Andy Warhol, with sound conceived by John Cale, The Velvet Underground & Nico is an engrossing, stimulating experience from start to finish. With this record, Lou Reed and co. push the boundaries of Psychedelia, effectively creating Proto-Punk. Here is an early Verve Records copy, the cover of which includes the famous Warhol banana sticker, here partially peeled then reaffixed. Disc is mint, and unplayed. Cover shows heavy toning/soiling at both the right and left edges, particularly on the spine. Condition: VG-EX 6 (sleeve)/GM-MT 10 (disc).
