    Description

The Doors "Light My Fire" / "Break on Through" Hip-Pocket Record and Sleeve with Ten Additional Records (Philco, 1968). An interesting 4" flexible record format experiment from the late '60s. A number of large record companies participated with releases from top hit makers of the day but the format never caught on. This group of eleven discs are all sealed in their original picture sleeve (except as noted) with printed 69¢ price tags. As follows, in alphabetical order by artist:
The Doors "Light My Fire" / "Break on Through". Neatly slit open at the top seam.
Arthur Conley "Sweet Soul Music" / "You Don't Have to See Me".
Fallen Angels "Room at the Top" / "Most Children Do".
Five Americans "Western Union" / Sounds of Love"
Lesley Gore "You Don't Own Me" / "That's the Way the Boys Are".
Tommy James and the Shondells "Mirage" / I Think We're Alone Now".
Tommy James and the Shondells "Hanky Panky" / "Gettin' Together".
    Keith "98.6" / Ain't Gonna Lie".
Van Morrison "Brown-Eyed Girl" / "Midnight Special".
Mitch Ryder "Jenny Take a Ride" / "Sock It to Me Baby". Roughly opened at top.
Percy Sledge "When A Man Loves A Woman" / "Baby Help Me".
All have store price stickers on the back with a date code of April 1968. Records are assumed to be unplayed. Sleeve fronts are generally VG-EX 6 or better.
