The Beatles vs. The Four Seasons Two Record Set (Vee-Jay DX 30, 1964). Vee-Jay had already screwed up, losing the world's greatest band to Capitol Records, but the company packaged and re-packaged their limited library to take advantage of Beatlemania. This was actually a nifty set, with a nice gatefold cover, biographies of both bands, and an 8" x 15" Beatles poster. But fans already had Introducing the Beatles and The Four Seasons' Golden Hits, both originally issued in 1963 and both essentially copied here. So, this release just didn't sell that well in 1964, making it a relative rarity today. Don't miss it this time around! Condition: EX 7(NM 8, except small tape pull on back cover)/ MT 9.
