    Description

The Beatles' Second Album Sealed Mono LP (Capitol T 2080, 1964). The unprecedented success of Meet The Beatles, Capitol's first album release of the group, prompted the company to scramble to get out a follow-up ASAP. Fortunately the Fab Four had a stockpile of songs previously released in the UK, and this follow-up album went quickly to the top of the charts. This album, more than any other of the group's early ones, shows how great of a 'cover band' the Beatles were, with their versions of "Roll Over Beethoven", "Money", "Please Mr. Postman", "Long Tall Sally" and others rivaling - some would say surpassing - the impact of the original classic recordings. We've seen fewer sealed copies of this album, especially the mono version, than most of the Fab's releases. From the Scranton, PA pressing plant (#3). Condition: NM 8 (2 small holes from price tag above the "T" on the cover, 1.5" seam split in shrink, small defect/dent at top right corner)/ MT 10 (disc) - Still Sealed!
