Description

The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour Stereo LP Acetate (Capitol ST 2835, 1967). Like the previous lot, this rare acetate was originally owned by Voyle Gilmore (d. 1979), who produced albums for Frank Sinatra and the Kingston Trio, and oversaw recordings by Judy Garland, Louis Prima, Dinah Shore, and Al Martino, among others. In his capacity as Vice President of Capitol, he also worked closely with the Beatles, Brian Epstein, and George Martin, producing the live album The Beatles At the Hollywood Bowl. Side 2 here has a short snippet of "Hello Goodbye", but the rest of the side is the same as the commercial release. Condition: EX 7.
