Prince Reel-to-Reel Demo Tape with Tracklist Written in His Own Hand (circa 1976/77). Recorded on reel-to-reel at Sound 80 recording studio - in Prince's hometown of Minneapolis - prior to the recording of Prince's landmark debut LP, consisting of three tracks total, including "Just As Long As We're Together", "My Love is Forever", and "Jelly Jam". On Prince's first album, the first two tracks here were re-recorded in their entirety, while "Jelly..." being modified and added as a coda to the first track. The tracklist and "Prince" - on the verso of the vintage Sound 80 box - were written in the Artist's own hand in black felt pen, and in pure Prince style, the "W" in 'Just As Long As We're Together" was styled to look like a pair of breasts, and the lettering for "Jelly Jam" was scrawled in a squiggly, jelly-like fashion. Production notes crediting Prince and engineer David Rivkin written by Rivkin in blue ballpoint. An incredible treasure from the beginning of the Purple One's storied, prolific career.
