One of the Rock eras most distinctive voices, Jackie Wilson probably should have been one of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's original inductees in 1986. He did make it into the second inductee class of 1987 alongside such luminaries as Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Ricky Nelson, and Roy Orbison. Fantastic group of LPs includes seven rarer stereo recordings plus two promo copies: A Woman, A Lover, A Friend (Brunswick 54059 Yellow Label Promo, 1960) in NM 8/ MT 9; Jackie Wilson Sings the World's Greatest Melodies (54106 Yellow Label Promo, 1963) in EX 7/ NM 8; You Ain't Heard Nothin' Yet (754100, 1961) in NM 8/ NM 8; By Special Request (754101, 1961) in EX 7/ NM 8; Body and Soul (754105, 1962) in EX 7/ NM 8; Jackie Wilson at the Copa (754108, 1962) in NM 8/ NM 8 with promo sticker on the back cover; Baby Workout (754110, 1963) in NM 8/ MT 9; Somethin' Else (754117, 1964) in NM 8/ MT 9; and Soul Time (754118, 1965) in MT 9/ MT 9.
