    Description

Introducing The Beatles Ultra-Rare Version One "Column Back" Stereo LP in Original Sears Sleeve with Perry Cox LOA (Vee-Jay SR1062, 1964). With large "Stereophonic" banner at top, contains "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You", song titles arranged in two columns on back. One of less than twenty copies known, the rarest of the rare. Let's just pull some quotes from Beatle expert Perry Cox's LOA to describe this album (full transcript below): "World's Best!... This is, without question, among the rarest of all commercially issued Beatles albums made in the U.S.A.! It is also the very best condition example known to exist!!... Unless sealed perfect, it won't be upgraded. Cover is simply beautiful... The 'Sears' loose styled wrapping is retained on the cover... No evidence of ever being played near the spindle hole... It is a crowning jewel for any collection." There is just not a lot more that needs to be added. For the collector that desires rarity and demands perfection, you've found your copy of Introducing The Beatles! Condition: MT 9/ MT 9. From the Stan Panenka Beatles Vinyl Collection.

***THIS IS, WITHOUT QUESTION, AMONG THE RAREST OF ALL COMMERCIALLY ISSUED BEATLES ALBUMS MADE IN THE U.S.A.! IT IS ALSO THE VERY BEST CONDITION EXAMPLE KNOWN TO EXIST!!***

OF ALL THE BEATLES VEE JAY ALBUMS (and ANY OTHER U.S. COMMERCIAL ISSUE ALBUM!), THIS PARTICULAR VERSION OF "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES" ON VEE JAY RECORDS IS FOR SURE, THE RAREST ONE! (Vee Jay VJLPS-1062.) THIS IS THE EARLY 1964 VERSION ONE STEREO ALBUM WITH THE SONG TITLES PRINTED ON THE BACK COVER. THE ALBUM FEATURES THE SONGS 'LOVE ME DO & P.S. I LOVE YOU1 (Vee Jay VJLPS-1062). THIS IS THE ORIGINAL ISSUE WITH ORIGINAL RECORD FEATURING THE LARGE PRINT "STEREO" AT THE TOP OF THE DISC LABEL! THAT IS A VERY FIRST ISSUE RECORD! IT IS, BY FAR, THE NICEST EXAMPLE OF THE ALBUM I'VE EVER SEEN! UNLESS SEALED PERFECT, IT WON'T BE UPGRADED. COVER IS SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL FRONT AND BACK, EDGE TO EDGE, SEAM TO SEAM AND CORNER TO CORNER. BRIGHT VIBRANT COLORS AND BRIGHT WHITE BACK. THE "SEARS" LOOSE STYLE WRAPPING IS RETAINED ON THE COVER. IT HAS DONE IT'S JOB IN PRESERVING THE COVER AT AN AS NEW NEAR MINT. SHARP CORNERS! PAPER ALL THE WAY TO EDGES. NO HINT OF SPLITS, ETC.. SEAMS ARE TOTALLY INTACT! PRINT ON THE BACK IS BOLD AND SOLID! AND THE RECORD IS AMONG THE BEST EXAMPLES OF THIS DISC I HAVE EVER SEEN! TRULY AN AS NEW NEAR MINT VINYL WITH NM LABELS! NO MARKS AT ALL! NO EVIDENCE OF EVER BEING PLAYED NEAR THE SPINDLE HOLE CENTERS. I CANT IMPRESS ON YOU ENOUGH HOW TOUGH THIS DISC IS TO FIND IN ANY KIND OF CONDITION, BUT THIS AS NEW EXAMPLE IS SIMPLY INCREDIBLE! INDEED, ONLY ABOUT FIFTEEN TO TWENTY OF THESE ALBUMS HAVE BEEN VERIFIED TO EXIST AT ALL! THIS ONE IS THE BEST OF THEM ALL! KEEP IN MIND, THIS ALBUM   . IS ALSO MUCH SCARCER THAN THE "AD BACK" STEREO ALBUM, AND THE "PORTRAIT COVER BEATLES AND FRANK IFIELD" STEREO ALBUM! ***IF YOU LIKE THE WORLD CLASS "BEST OF THE BEST" MINTY EXAMPLES OF THE WORLD'S RAREST BEATLES RECORDS, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU! IT IS A CROWNING JEWEL FOR ANY COLLECTION. (Note: Version one mono issues were pressed in reasonable numbers and all version two mono & stereo issues were made in reasonable numbers (with tracks, 'please please me' & 'ask my why'), but NOT this version one Stereo album with the song titles on the back cover. They were made in extremely small numbers! The smallest of all the VJ albums!) ******ALSO INCLUDES STUNNING CONDITION ORIGINAL VJ INNER SLEEVE!***

Possessing a Beatles record collection so astounding we've never seen its equal, Stan Panenka is a name known by virtually every serious Beatles collector. Though his first Beatles record was Hey Jude, bought in 1970, it wasn't until 1990 with his purchase of a copy of the Decca single "My Bonnie" that Stan began seriously collecting high-end American Beatles vinyl. Since then, his collection has grown to colossal proportions, in terms of both quantity and quality, making it quite possibly the greatest collection of United States-pressed Beatles records ever known. A large part of what makes this collection so important are his condition standards, which are stringent even among high-end dealers. He's never bought an album that wasn't at least Near Mint, bringing a "just-left-the-pressing-plant" quality to nearly every item in this incredible accumulation. As one of the preeminent experts in American Beatles records, Stan has written well-received price guides on Beatles vinyl, and is a walking treasure trove of information on the subject!

Heritage is ecstatic to bring you this, the first taste of the absolute finest Beatles record collection ever viewed by our specialists, with more to come in November's auction! Here is your chance to own pieces of this historic collection!
