Description

Introducing the Beatles Stereo Ad Back LP (Vee Jay 1062, 1964) One of the most elusive of the many cover variations of the groundbreaking, classic album is this Stereo copy of the "ad back" cover. The album was essentially a spin-off of the Fab's 1963 UK album Please Please Me, and in the early US Beatlemania days of 1964 vied for the #1 spot on Billboard's Top Pop Albums with Meet the Beatles on Capitol. It hung in at #2 for nine consecutive weeks! The cover of this copy has some wear on the bottom and a 1" seam split at top right, with a small part of the back slick torn off (see image). Condition: VG-EX 6 (cover)/VG 5 (side 1) and EX 7 (side 2).
