Description
Elvis Presley Complete Sun Singles Set (Sun, 1954-55). It's the stuff of legend - Elvis' first five commercial recordings on the local Sun label. Recorded over two years, and appreciated by relatively few, mostly regional fans, at the time, these set the stage for Elvis' ascension to the throne of King of Rock and Roll. After Elvis' move to mega-label RCA in late 1955, and his first release with the new company, "Heartbreak Hotel", the music world would never be the same! From the first single "That's All Right"/ "Blue Moon of Kentucky" to the fifth, "Mystery Train"/ "I Forgot to Remember to Forget", this was history in the making, and here's an opportunity to get all five records at once!Included: "That's All Right"/ "Blue Moon of Kentucky" (Sun 209, 1954) in EX 7, "Good Rockin' Tonight"/ "I Don't Care If the Sun Don't Shine" (210, 1954) in EX 7, "You're a Heartbreaker"/ "Milkcow Blues Boogie" (215, 1955) in NM 8, "Baby Let's Play House"/ "I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone" (217, 1955) in VG-EX 6, and "Mystery Train"/ "I Forgot..." (223, 1955) in EX 7. All but "Mystery Train" have the vintage "push marks", and, of course, no "Mystery Train" copies had the "push marks" to begin with!
