Virtuoso Texas Country/ Blues/ Rock artist who invented and re-invented himself over the decades, Sahm is best known for this big '60s hit "She's About A Mover" by his band The Sir Douglas Quintet and for leading the Tex-Mex group The Texas Tornados in the 1990s. Along the way he released Doug Sahm And Band in 1973, featuring the likes of Bob Dylan, David Bromberg, and longtime collaborator Flaco Jiménez. The acetate has some longer version cuts than appeared on the commercial release of the album, as well as three cuts that weren't on the album at all. Dylan contributes on guitar, harp, organ, and a backup vocals. There are two acetates, one with cuts on just one side. Go to HA.com for more details about the 11 tracks.
