Buddy Holly The "Chirping" Crickets EP (Brunswick 71036, 1957). After a undistinguished try-out with Decca in 1956 and early 1957, Buddy Holly became an 'overnight success' in 1957 with The Crickets. The group's first single, "That'll Be the Day" shot right to the top of Billboard's singles chart. That song and its follow-up double-sided smash "Oh Boy!"/ "Not Fade Away" are on this EP, along with "I'm Looking For Love", an underrated rocker. Beautiful copy of the uncommon release! Condition: NM 8/ NM 8.
