Bruce Springsteen Born To Run Ultra Rare "Script Cover" Promo Vinyl LP (1975). A very rare first printing edition of a promo vinyl LP for the Boss's breakthrough third album. A holy grail of sorts for collectors, "Bruce Springsteen" and "Born to Run" are in black cursive, as compared to the commercial version, which had the words in a straight font. The label also mentions it is an advanced promotional item.

With Born to Run, Bruce was no longer a critical favorite with an explosive live show. He became a household name with his earnestness for a better life filtered through catchy tunes like the title track, "Thunder Road," "Jungleland," and "She's the One." He wanted to make an album that jumped from the speakers and would change the lives of who listened. And it worked.

The disc has a white label on both sides. Lot also contains a photocopied copy of a letter of introduction from Columbia. Jacket is in NM 8 condition (with creased corners and binding has rub marks), the disc is in MT 9 condition, and the sheet is in NM 8 condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
