Description

Beatles Yesterday And Today First State Stereo Butcher Cover (Capitol ST 2553, 1966). "A Somnambulant Adventure" indeed! Whether John and/or Paul were just trying to find a use for the snooty synonym of "sleepwalking" was really never debated at the time, nor did most of us even know the "name" of the photo - it just became known as "the butcher cover." This is a first state copy of the infamous cover, without the disc, and it's the rarer stereo version, from the Scranton, PA pressing plant (#2 on the back cover). The bottom left corner has some wear, but overall it's quite a nice copy. Condition: EX 7.
