Beatles Related - Black Dyke Mills Band "Yellow Submarine" 10" One-sided Apple Acetate (1969). The Black Dyke Mills Band was one of the most famous brass ensembles in the world, first assembled in 1855 by John Foster and named for the textile mill he built in the Black Dyke area of Queensbury in West Yorkshire. The band was made up of employees of the mill. Paul McCartney was commissioned to write the theme song for Thingumybob and hired the Black Dyke Mills Band to record it, backed with an instrumental version of "Yellow Submarine". In July 1968 Paul McCartney traveled with a group of Apple staff members and engineers to Saltaire, near Bradford England to record the two songs. It was the first group to be pressed on the Beatles' Apple label (Apple 1800). Very few copies were made of this 10" one-sided Apple acetate, which consists of just the A-side of the single release. Condition: EX 7.

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
