    Description

Beatles"Anna" and "Ask Me Why" Mother Discs. One of the rarest Beatles singles, the special pressing of "Ask Me Why" (VJ Special #8) was limited to a miniscule handful of copies circulated amongst Los Angeles radio stations in 1964 for promotional purposes, possibly to test the reaction to "Anna" as a follow-up single to "Please Please Me." If that was the case, Vee-Jay must have determined that "Anna" wasn't a very strong single, as it went with "Twist and Shout" and "Do You Want To Know a Secret" for its next Beatles 45s. Both 12" discs are in VG+ condition with some tarnishing.
