    Description

Beatles Ain't She Sweet Mono US White Label Promo LP (Atco 33-169, 1969). The original release of this album was in 1964, after Beatlemania had exploded in the US earlier in the year. Atco released two singles in May that had actually been recorded years earlier, all four of which are found here: " Ain't She Sweet","Sweet George Brown", "Take Out Some Insurance On Me Baby", and "Nobody's Child." Contractual issues with other labels precluded Atco from releasing other Beatles recordings on this album, so the label had the UK band The Swallows cover eight other Beatles songs for inclusion to complete the album. Here we have white label promo and one of the finest copies we have ever seen. Incredibly tough to find a 60s Beatles promo with no markings on the label. Condition: EX-7/ Gem MT-10. From The Stan Panenka Beatles Vinyl Collection.

    More Information:

Possessing a Beatles record collection so astounding we've never seen its equal, Stan Panenka is a name known by virtually every serious Beatles collector. Though his first Beatles record was Hey Jude, bought in 1970, it wasn't until 1990 with his purchase of a copy of the Decca single "My Bonnie" that Stan began seriously collecting high-end American Beatles vinyl. Since then, his collection has grown to colossal proportions, in terms of both quantity and quality, making it quite possibly the greatest collection of United States-pressed Beatles records ever known. A large part of what makes this collection so important are his condition standards, which are stringent even among high-end dealers. In most cases he's never bought an album that wasn't at least Near Mint, bringing a "just-left-the-pressing-plant" quality to great deal of the items in this incredible accumulation. As one of the preeminent experts in American Beatles records, Stan has written well-received price guides on Beatles vinyl, and is a walking treasure trove of information on the subject!
