Amos Milburn and Others Party After Hours LP (Aladdin 703, 1955). What a trifecta! Here's a third rarity in our auction that features the influential Mr. Milburn, plus another great Blues shouter, Wynonie "Mr. Blues" Harris. Additional cuts are from "Crown Prince" Waterford and Velma Nelson. All in all, six selections on this 10" LP, renowned for its off-color lyrics and irresistible party vibe. Like Milburn's "Rockin' the Boogie," this compilation was issued in both black and red vinyl. And like that recording, the black vinyl version is pretty scarce -- the red vinyl version really scarce! Put the album cover graphics, the red vinyl, the musical content, and the rarity factor together, and you have one dynamite collector's record! Condition: EX 7/ VG 5.
