Elvis Presley Owned Savage Arms Model 99A Takedown Lever Action Rifle with COA from His Chief of Security Dick Grob. Serial no. A712575, .250-3000 caliber, 20-inch round barrel with front and rear sights. Blue finish with case-hardened cocking lever. Smooth walnut pistol-grip stock and fore-end. Grooved metal buttplate. Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 90-95% of original finish. Overall very light scratches to wood and metal. Action is good. Bore is good, needs cleaning.
Included with this rifle are two signed Affidavits and Certificates of Authenticity from Richard Grob. They state: "I. Richard Grob, Head of Security and Personal Friend of Elvis Presley, do hereby attest to the authenticity of [this item]. This Savage .250-3000 caliber lever action carbine rifle bearing the serial number A712575 was the personal property of Elvis Presley. COA from Richard Grob. FFL REQUIRED.
