Description

XTC 1982 Amsterdam Concert Poster. A vivid horizontal poster for the British art punks XTC played the hallowed Paradiso in Amsterdam on Monday, March 8, 1982. Led by Andy Partridge and Colin Moulding, the band was on tour behind their English Settlement LP, the album that gave the world the nuggets "Senses Working Overtime" and "Ball and Chain." Only ten days later, while performing in Paris, Partridge melted down during the opening tune and the band would cease touring for good not much longer after this. Measures 24" x 17". In Very Good Plus condition with numerous spots of creasing and some smudging, toning along the top edge. COA from Heritage Auctions.
