Woodstock Poster Genuine Original Large Size Minus the Black Ink.
An authentic, rare pre-show printing of the large poster generated to advertise the festival, but was pulled from the press before the black ink was laid in with all of the information about the weekend, including musicians. That left room for poster artist Arnold Skolnick to sign his full name in the place where only his last name was usually printed with the black plate on the regular poster (under the "M" in "Music"). For those who just want the famous dove on the guitar neck, the "3 Days of Peace & Music," signed by the artist himself, and nothing but the simplicity of the pretty colors, this is your piece. Measures 24 x 37", in Very Good Plus condition with some creasing and nicking in the upper right-hand edges and, to a lesser degree, in very tiny amounts on the middle left edge. COAs from Arnold Skolnick and Heritage Auctions.
