Wilson Pickett/Sam & Dave Mosque Auditorium Concert Poster (1966). Extremely Rare. Oversized window card printed in Dayglo orange and purple on card stock for "The Wilson Pickett Show" in Richmond on Sun. Dec. 4. The poster features images of the headline acts, and lists recent hits, including "Wilson Pickett, "Land Of 1000 Dances".. "Midnight Hour""; "Double Dynamite! / Sam & Dave / "Hold On I'm Coming""; and "Junior Walker and the All Stars / "How Sweet It Is"". Printed by "Globe Poster, Baltimore". Measures 22" x 35.5". In Very Good Plus Condition, with nicks and wear to edges, 1" tear to left edge, minor warping to top and bottom edges, general corner and edge wear, general toning.This is the first time that this poster has been offered at Heritage, and, as far as we know, this is the only known copy. This is a wonderful example of an oversized Globe Poster, including two inductees to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame: Wilson Pickett (1991) and Sam and Dave (1992).
