The Kingston Trio & Theodore Bikel 1960's Folk-Music Concert Posters (2). A pair of original cardboard window cards advertising concerts from two significant folk-music figures of the 1960's.

    • The Kingston Trio appearing in Dillon Gym at Princeton University on Saturday night, November 5, 1960. The group was just coming off four consecutive #1 albums: The Kingston Trio at Large, Here We Go Again!, Sold Out and String Along. The latter may have actually been on top of the charts this very week.

The poster measures 14" x 22 1/4" and grades to Very Good condition. There's a nail hole and small tear top center; staple holes and small tears at the top of, and below, the "S" in "Kingston"; and likewise in one musician's face (by "Trio") and between "November 5" at the bottom. Blue ink-pen scribble in the white above "Dillon." Small marks of dirt in lower right area; in fact, some grime and toning throughout. Verso has a little more pen scribbling.

    • Theodore Bikel appearing in a high school auditorium on Sunday, May 7, 1967. There are many East High Schools in America, so the city and state cannot be determined.
This poster measures 14" x 22" and grades to Very Good condition. Water stains in the bottom left area, not touching any of the red lettering. Some surface scuffing and dinging on the large black photo area. All four corners dinged and creased. Verso has a large black mark. COA from Heritage Auctions.
