The Crows/Johnny Otis Richmond Civic Auditorium Concert Poster (1954). Extremely Rare. Window card poster printed on card stock for a show on Sunday May 2nd featuring photos and hit songs for the headline acts "Johnny Otis and his Orchestra, "Rock Me Baby"" and "The Crows, "Gee"". Printed by "Tilghman Press, 714 Market Street, Oakland". Measures 13.75" x 21.75". In Good condition, with extensive restoration and repairs.

This is the only known concert poster featuring the Crows and, to our knowledge, this is the only known example.

The Doo-Wop classic "Gee" was originally released in 1963 but was a slow burner and did not enter the charts until 1954. It eventually reached no.2 on the R&B chart and no. 14 on the Pop chart and was the first Doo-Wop single to sell more than one million records. The song was the only hit of note for the Crows and the group disbanded shortly after its success.

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
