The Clovers/Amos Milburn Concert Poster (1953). Extremely Rare. Jumbo window card tour blank poster printed on card stock for a "Big Double Attraction". The poster shows images of both acts on the lineup with hot songs listed : "1. The Clovers...The Nation's No.1 Quartette" / "Ting-A-Ling" / "Fool, Fool, Fool" / "Crawlin" / "Yes It's You" and "In The Middle Of The Night"; "2. Amos Milburn and his Big Little Band" with hit songs "That Chicken Shack Boogie Man"; and "Bad, Bad Whiskey". Printed by "Globe Poster Corp. Baltimore". Measures 22" x 28". In Very Good condition with restoration and touchups to the lower right corner, several nicks to the left and upper borders, some toning.

    The Clovers were one of the earliest R&B groups, who formed in the mid 1940s and became one of the top selling acts of the 1950s, with a string of hits from 1951-56. This poster lists two of their biggest hits "Ting-A-Ling" and "Fool, Fool, Fool", both no.1 hits on the R&B charts. Amos Milburn is in a classic pose at the piano on this poster which references his no.1 R&B hit "Chicken Shack Boogie".
