Talking Heads 1983 Houston, TX Concert Poster. Put on by Houston-based radio station 93 FM (later known as 93Q) and at a venue the post-punk art rockers previously played in 1979, this cardboard window card was for a show on October 22, 1983. The David Byrne-led band was on tour behind their Speaking in Tongues LP, which spawned the singles "Burning Down the House" and "This Must Be the Place." The Sam Houston Coliseum had hosted legends like Elvis, the Beatles, James Brown, and Ozzy Osbourne, and the Talking Heads had that strong of a draw at the time.
