A poster from 1977 featuring a young Stevie Ray Vaughan playing with Paul Ray and the Cobras at the Armadillo with Vaughan's older brother Jimmie (spelled as "Jimmy" here) also on the bill. Playing the Armadillo World Headquarters, a music hall and beer garden that used to be a national armory, was open throughout the 1970s but was torn down in 1981. Stevie and Jimmie were born in Dallas, but really made name for themselves in the capitol of Texas. Stevie would go onto play with Double Trouble, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest blues artists of all time. Measures 11" x 17". In Very Good condition with spots of soiling and creasing, along with tape residue in both top corners, and toning throughout. COA from Heritage Auctions.
