Steppenwolf 1970 Vancouver, B.C., Canada Concert Poster. An original glossy-paper advertising poster for Canada's Steppenwolf playing in their home country at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia on Friday night, November 27, 1970. As the poster makes abundantly clear, the band was promoting its seventh long-player, Steppenwolf 7. Opening act was Savoy Brown.

Steppenwolf was a prominent rock act from 1968-1972, and this poster falls right in the middle. Just released a couple of weeks prior (despite "Coming Soon" on the poster), 7 would go gold for the band and would be their last Top 20 album in America. Meanwhile, Kim Simmonds and Savoy Brown were touring behind their brand new one, Looking In, which would be their first Top 40 elpee in the States.

Measures 18" x 25" and grades to Very Good Plus condition for a creased and torn upper left corner and a couple of long, mellow creases down along the bottom edge. Also a small fingerprint over "Their New," and an invisible surface crease in the eye socket of the right skull. COA from Heritage Auctions.
