Sky River Rock Festival 1969 Souvenir Poster (AOR-3.8). An original 1969 poster most likely sold at the event for the second annual Sky River Rock Festival and Lighter Than Air Fair held over Labor Day weekend in in Tanino, Washington, about 75 miles south of Seattle. This cute, very Woodstock-y poster depicts 17 not-quite-hippies playing in the mud from the first festival a year earlier; you didn't see much long hair yet in 1968, other than on musicians. The Art of Rock felt this poster was fun & interesting enough to picture it in the book.

Measures 24" x 18" and grades to Very Good condition. The poster has some water damage sustained on the far left side, best seen slanting down under the word "River." You can see a little more in the left margin down a few inches from the top. It's mostly not detectable against the brown and beige artwork. Lower left corner has a microscopic tip of paper loss, and the upper right corner area got a little bit scrunched and creased. COA from Heritage Auctions.
