Sex Pistols Poster/Print Group by Jamie Reid (1997). Jamie Reid, in the flyer that accompanied his 1997 "Peace is Tough" art exhibit, is described as "image pirate, painter and sloganeer... England's top anti-establishment Big Name Artist." He first came to fame creating designs for The Sex Pistols, with his in-your-face images adorning pinback buttons, flyers, record single sleeves, and the Never Mind the Bollocks album cover that shocked and outraged the world. This large set of silkscreen prints includes seven of his iconic "God Save the Queen" designs, measuring 29" x 40"; the prints are in silver ink on navy paper, silver on white, gold on navy, gold on white, metallic red on white, black ink on white, and metallic blue ink on white. There are four special Sex Pistols "Fuck Forever" prints; each one measures 29" x 40", with pink, yellow, green, and silver background editions. Also included is a print designed for the exhibit featuring John Wayne as you've never seen him, color printed on white stock measuring 22" x 27", with an image area of 18" x 22". Average condition is Near Mint. None are signed. A photocopy of the exhibition press release is included.
