    Sam Cooke/Jackie Wilson Memorial Auditorium Concert Poster (1959). Rare. Oversized multi-colored window card printed on card stock for a show in Chattanooga, TN, on Wed. June 10. The poster announces no less than fourteen acts, showing images of the majority, some with song titles listed. The acts include Sam Cooke, "Everybody Likes To Cha Cha"; Jackie Wilson, "Lonely Teardrops" and "That Is Why"; and Hank Ballard And The Midnighters, 'The Kansas City Twist" and "Teardrops On My Pillow". Printed by "Globe Posters, Baltimore". Measures approximately 22" x 35". In Very Good condition with small area of loss to lower right corner, general wear and creases to edges and corners, toning to light areas.

    This is one of the very best Globe posters we have seen at Heritage, with stunning colors and an incredible lineup of R&B acts, including three future Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees.
