Rolling Stones 1963 U.K. Concert Program w/Everly Bros., Bo Diddley & Little Richard. An original 16-page concert program for a 1963 British tour headlined by Rock and Roll Hall-of-Famers the Everly Brothers, Bo Diddley and Little Richard, and with a little-known opening act that's now pretty well known around the Rock Hall themselves, The Rolling Stones. Talk about influencers... these four acts have inspired more young rock musicians than almost any combo you could possibly come up with.

It's so amazing to see the Stones get their name in such small print in the "Programme" listing for the evening, but everybody had to start somewhere, of course. The do get a nice full-page bio in the program, with a standard early publicity photograph. It's then hilarious to how that photo is run again in a Decca Records advert, but with the iron fence and all the background elements removed, leaving Keith, Mick and Bill with their hands sort of hanging in mid-air. But come on... it was just for their super-early single, "Come On." Even the ad makes a play on the single's title.

Measures 8" x 10 1/2" and grades to Very Good condition. The front and back covers have considerable surface creasing to the glossy paper, and on the cover, both Bo Diddley and Little Richard have a scratch & a ding on their faces as well. The program was once folded in half, perhaps for a back pocket, so there's a vertical crease that runs down the center of every page, but it's fairly benign and breaks hardly any "color" (the cover's purple stripe is the only color used anywhere). Slight half-inch tear on the cover's edge in upper right quadrant (on the shoulder). COA from Heritage Auctions.
