R.E.M. Early 1980s Multi-Date Athens, GA Concert Handbill. A thin paper handbill for a two-night appearance of R.E.M. at Tyrone's on a Friday and Saturday. (This is the famed venue that later burned down in early January of 1982.) No further information is presented here, aside from the mention the band was "back from the tundra." The quartet was very active around would play multiple covers and many originals that later appeared on the band's first few albums. Measures 8 ½" x 11". In Very Good condition, with five strips of tape, scrapes, and smudges. COA from Heritage Auctions.
