    Poison Idea Concert Posters (6) (1980s/1990s) Six 11" x 17" posters featuring the Portland punk band that had its initial run between 1980 and 1998. Making piles of records, compilations, and singles, the band (with its many members) has reunited a few times over the years since then. All are offset printed, except where noted.

    Lot includes: 1) A poster what was supposed to be a "Last Show . . . Ever!" for Poison Idea, they played La Luna with Les Thugs and Napalm Beach. Signed in the bottom right corner by designer Mike King in pencil. Measures 11" x 17". In Near Mint condition with some slight handling wear; 2) Using a shot from Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, this 1989 show had a young Mudhoney as one of the opening acts. Signed in the bottom left corner by Steven Birch (aka, "Mr. Steve") in pencil. Offset printed. In Very Good Plus condition with some handling wear; 3) A poster for Poison Idea's show with Babes in Toyland and Calamity Jane supporting. Offset printed. Measures 11" x 17". In Very Good condition with various holes in spots and pin holes; 4) A blue and white poster for a show at Pine Street Theatre with Napalm Beach and Alcoholic Unanimous. In Near Mint condition; 5) A poster for a show at RKCNDY with appropriately-paired acts Gas Huffer and the Fumes. In Very Good Minus condition with a lot of wear, staining, and creasing, as well as staple holes and a small hole in the bottom right corner. Not offset printed; 6) A poster for a show at Blue Gallery with Serial Killers, the Wanted, and General Concern. In Very Good condition with spots of loss in the upper portion, along with staple holes and various spots of wear (especially staining and tearing).
