Description

Pink Floyd 1972 Wichita, KS Psychedelic Concert Handbill. An original concert-advertising flyer from America's heartland advertising no less than Pink Floyd performing at the Henry Levitt Arena in Wichita, Kansas on Wednesday night, September 13, 1972. Very fittingly printed on light pink paper, this flyer features very Floyd-like artwork credited to Phil Miller. This was the band's legendary Dark Side of the Moon tour; it was the first leg where they opened their shows by playing that album - yet to be released - and then played older favorites in the show's second half. A rare piece, this first-ever Heritage offering measures 8 3/8" x 10 7/8" and grades to Very Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.

More Information: There's a one-inch tear at the bottom center going up through the "H" in "Wichita." The way the paper falls, it doesn't show too much. The handbill also has a couple of very light blemishes in the upper left quadrant, including one right next to the "P" in "Pink." There's also a small mark to the lower left of "4.50." General light toning throughout.
