Pigmeat Markham Norfolk Arena Concert Poster (1969). Extremely Rare. Window card printed in Dayglo pink and yellow on card stock for a show in Norfolk, MA, on Sat. June 28. The poster features a headshot of Markham and mentions his hit single "Here comes the judge". The lineup also includes Peggy Scott and Jo Jo Benson, Cliff Nobles and Company and Ollie and the Nightingales. Printed by "Globe Poster, Baltimore". Measures 22" x 28". In Very Good Plus condition with some traces of black stray printer's ink, slight staining to lower edge, light creasing to corners and edges.

    Pigmeat Markham was a regular performed at the Appollo Theater and on the Ed Sullivan Show in the 1950s. However, he was laergely unknown to white audiences until he appeared as the Judge, his signature character, on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In in 1968. His hit single "Here Comes The Judge" reached no.19 on the Billboard charts in 1968 and is recognized as one of the first 'rap' songs.
