Peter Gabriel 1978 Frankfurt, Germany Concert Poster. An original large paper concert poster advertising Genesis superstar Peter Gabriel performing live in concert in Frankfurt, Germany on Wednesday, December 13, 1978. Besides the main image of Gabriel singing on stage, the poster also has an inset photo with him down in the crowd performing, much to their delight - something he was famous for doing. As a bonus, the poster also shows mini's of Gabriel's first two solo albums from the late 70's.

Many European concert posters were "knocked off," or reproduced, at a later date to be sold in stores and such. This is an absolute pre-show first printing of this poster.

Measures 23 1/2" x 33" and grades to Very Good condition, for surface handling and light creasing throughout, very typical for glossy posters of this era. There's also a benign diagonal crease in the lower right corner, and two tiny pinprick-holes in each corner which have to be looked hard for. COA from Heritage Auctions.
