Description

Paul McCartney Pipes of Peace Counter Display (US, 1983). An easel-backed counter display for McCartney's fourth studio album released on October 17, 1983. The album spawned the hit "Say Say Say", recorded with Michael Jackson. The die-cut cardboard display measures 11.5" x 19.5". The display features a color photograph of McCartney holding pan pipes in his right hand appearing to hold a cassette of the album in his left hand. Someone has added an Arista "Beatlemania is for Real" button to Paul's right shoulder for added panache. There's slight warp to the cardboard and some minor scuffing but otherwise it is in very good condition. From the Connie and Dennis Dailey Monumental Beatles Collection. COA from Heritage Auctions.
