Ozzy Osbourne, Anthrax 1988 Long Beach, CA Concert Poster. An arresting eye-grabber of a poster for an Ozzy show at the famed Long Beach Arena with Anthrax as its "special guest."

The Prince of Darkness was on tour behind No Rest for the Wicked, which was released earlier in the year. It was the era where guitarist Zakk Wylde was new to Ozzy's studio and live band. Wylde's lightning and bluesy playing gave Ozzy's material a special kick (especially on 1991's No More Tears).

Anthrax (which featured Joey Belladonna, Dan Spitz, Scott Ian, Frank Bello, and Charlie Benante at the time) was on tour behind their State of Euphoria LP. This is known as the classic era of the band, considered one of the Big 4 of thrash. Blending their love of metal, rock, punk, and hip-hop, they had a multi-dimensional sound.
