Description

    Otis Redding Continental Club Concert Poster (1966). Extremely Rare. Window card printed on card stock for a show in Oakland, CA on Thur. April 14th. The poster invites fans to "Move and Groove with Otis Redding And His 10 Piece Orchestra", showing a three-quarter length image of the singer, and lists two of his classic hits "Respect" and "Mr Pitiful". Printed by "Tilghman Press...Oak.". Measures 15.25" x 23.25". In Very Good condition with a 2" vertical tear to top left corner, 1" tear to lower left corner above "Respect", .25" area of surface damage to image of Redding. Some paper loss to white border, staple holes to corners. Some general surface wear.

    Provenance: Formerly from The John Goddard Collection.
