Description

Nirvana 1989 Bleach Omaha, NE Concert Poster. A wonderful window card for a show that was originally scheduled for July 24, but was rescheduled for Sunday, October 8, 1989 at the Lifticket Lounge in Omaha, Nebraska. Why was the July show cancelled? According to the provenance provided by the co-promoter who originally owned this, it was because Nirvana fired their second guitar player, Jason Everman.

Everman is featured prominently here, wearing a Soundgarden T-shirt. (Coincidentally, Everman's next band would be . . . Soundgarden.) Nirvana reverted back to being a trio, with Kurt Cobain, Krist (then Chris) Novoselic and Chad Channing continuing to tour off of their debut album, Bleach.

Given the lore of Nirvana leading up to Nevermind (and everything after), you might think Nirvana blew the roof off the place to a packed crowd. Not so. Per the original owner, there were less than 75 people at the $4 Sunday night show. Measures 8 ½" x 14". In Near Mint condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.

More Information: Has very light creasing in spots (mainly in the corners).
