New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival Francis X. Pavy Signed Artist's Proof Poster, 19/99 (1997). Artist Francis Xavier Pavy has been dubbed the "Picasso of Zydeco" by Rolling Stone magazine, and is a favorite with the New Orleans music scene. This magnificent poster, literally bursting with rich, vivid color, is a testament to both his skill as an artist and to his devotion to the culture that is New Orleans Jazz. The main subject of the poster is New Orleans' favorite sons, the Neville Brothers, and group members Aaron, Art, Cyril, and Charles Neville, have signed the bottom area. Pavy has also signed and remarqued the piece with a pencil sketch of a guitarist. The poster measures approximately 24" x 37", and is matted and framed for an overall size of 33" x 47.5".
