Lynyrd Skynyrd (with Ronnie Van Zant) 1975 Pensacola, FL Concert Poster. An original, fun concert window card advertising a Lynyrd Skynyrd show at the Municipal Auditorium in Pensacola, Florida on Saturday night, March 29, 1975. This catchy red & black poster features a pretty crazy graphic of a hat-wearing skull with shades, smoking a cigar and wearing a confederate flag. A great image for the rabble-rousing band!This is one tough poster to find, as a quick search of the internet does not turn it up. It's certainly the first time Heritage has ever had the pleasure of offering it.
The band's third studio album, Nuthin' Fancy, was only a few days old. That is the album that gave the world "Saturday Night Special" in the pantheon of Skynyrd staples. Performing in their home state of Florida at the venue that stood from 1955 until 2005, it was a perfect match for the band. Measures 17" x 22". In Very Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
